Edmontosaurs Model

Edmontosaurus is one of my fav dinos. How awesome is this guy?

I'm uploading him to Shapeways along with the Gryposaurus. I've ordered both models first to make sure they are indeed printable. Sometimes they slip thru Shapeways testing phase and I have to fix them.

Anyway, they will both be available ASAP, along with some others. AND I will be selling the models I get and paint:-) So look for those on my Ebay store in the future. I'll of course post them here first.

Cheers!

Very cool model...

Sadly I'm not in the Edmontosaur fan club... not that they aren't "cool", I'm just sick of them being the ONLY thing I find when fossil hunting. My usual stretch of badlands is Edmonto territory, and that are seriously 20 times more common than anything else in the area.

I'd probably turn around on them if I could at least find an articulated or assoicated skull! I've found the left lower jaw and a orbital bone from them in bonebeds... but so has everyone else :(

Thanks guys! I'm trying to fix them up so they can be printed and I have a bunch more models to upload as well.

LOL! Ooooh, you can just send all those Edmontos to me:-D But yeah, I bet it would get old to find the same thing over and over again. Although, if I had the money, I really want a life size full-body Edmontosaurus cast in my living room. I'd even put some ferns around it. Yeah, I'm weird:)

Hi Angie, im going to buy your models at shapeways and id like to know what are the differences in the hollow models (¿any differences in the external appearance?)

thanks

Hi there! Thank you, I'm glad you like them:)

The differences are this:
*The solid models are heavier, Hollows are lighter in weight

*The external apperance is exactly the same, except for that on the Hollow models you will see a little hole underneath the figure. This is so Shapeways can extract the material from the body cavity. YOu won't notice it when the figure is standing since it is placed on the tummy:)

So they both look the same except for those differences and the price.

Thank you again and if you get some and paint them, send pics to me as I love to see what people are doing:)

Take care!
Angie
