I've been at work detailing this model. This Olorotitan is an older, adult bull. He's been around the block a few times and is no pushover. So he has the bite marks and scars to proove it. I'm going to move on to making the other maps for him and add details as I go along, but this is where I am at.
Also still working on my Stegosaur painting. I still have a long way to go, but its heading in the right direction. I'm blocking in the steg, getting his pattern and colors the way I want them before I tie him in with the background. Right now he stands out way to much.
More updates soon...

The stegosaur painting is looking great, I'm looking forward to the final piece.
The Olorotitan looks fantastic. Z-Brush? Mudbox?(and of course, copious amounts of talent)
It look really well thought through in terms of its anatomy and integument.
Thank you! :)
I use Zbrush for the sculpting and painting. I'm glad you think it looks good so far, I try to put a lot of thought into my creatures so that is good to hear:)
More soon:)
I'm amazed at what one can do with today's software. I do like the personal touches like the scars. chicks like scars especially on hadrosaur drakes. It would seem your Olorotitan has stories to tell. It's not the years baby. It's the mileage.
what modelling technique do you use ?? Box modelling or which one ??
Hi!
I used to exclusively box model because that's what I knew how to do.
Currently I've been box modeling a very simple mesh of the creature to start with, then I import it into ZBrush and sculpt the rest of the model using the tools within ZBrush.
Its much, much faster than building the entire creature via box modeling. Either way works however:)
gggooogddd!!!
