Another update. I'm trying to keep the colors muted and everything look like it is the late evening.

WIPs

Two paintings I have going on. I got a little bored with the bears, but I did a little work on it today and it is on its way to almost done:)

The dinosaur painting is being done in acrylic on stretched canvas and is 12"x24". The scene is a Late Cretaceous evening, with a Corythosaurus in the foreground. Corythosaurus is my favorite dinosaur. I want this one to stay dark and have that "prehistoric" atmosphere to it.

Dapple grey horse available...

I finished up this horse and he is now available on Etsy! I think he turned out to be very beautiful and I'm happy with him:)

Grizzlies

I'm adding more color and definition to the mother grizzly. I blocked in some of the cub on the right, but am mostly ignoring them until I get the mother figured out. Still a long ways to go, but so far I like it.

More work on the coat pattern as well as finishing up sculpting the other side of him.

Although I still need to sculpt the other side of his head, I couldn't wait any longer to start adding some color. The colored wool is merino wool. It is a softer, higher quality than the core wool I used to sculpt the cat.

I'm trying out a rosette type pattern for his coat, kind of like a leopard. However, since this is a prehistoric cat, I can create my own unique pattern for him.

Lots more work to go and once he is near done I will start on the horse.
